Reaching the Children of the World

I am blessed to be able to carry on the legacy of my family in reaching the children of world for Jesus.

Yesterday, I posted about the generational legacy of a missions call upon my family.

Today, I want to share a little about my missionary kid journey. I was just going into kindergarten when my family become missionaries. It was a drastic change and I am so thankful for all the lessons I learned, the friends I made, and the impact it made on my perception of the world. It instilled a deep passion for reaching the lost and sharing the love of Christ with everyone I meet.

When we returned to the US I was going into 4th grade and we attended Missionary Training & Renewal in Springfield, MO. I was so excited because I was finally able to do all the stuff the "big kids" got to do that I was unable to participate in the first time. Most importantly, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit during one of our Missionary Kid (MK) services! It was at this service that I was called to reach the children of the world for Jesus. This call would take many forms and about two decades until I was released to go overseas to reach a new region of the world for me - Japan!

It has been a long and often harrowing journey as God has been molding and pruning me for such as time as this. I am exciting to see where this roads leads, but know that I'm in good hands. God has been with me every step and will be with me as I step into the unknown.
